“I have great appreciation for the added assistance to my mother given by Family Comfort Hospice. Mom is in assisted living and transitioning with dementia to a need for a memory care facility. As her needs become greater than what can be normally served in her current home at Fellowship Square (a wonderful place I must add), FCH is on hand to work with the local caregivers to spot and address changes in needs. I live out of state, making it difficult to be sure of the quality of her care. I’m getting regular and helpful phone calls and when I visit Mom, have meetings with FCH staff (thank you Christine and Lynn). This last meeting was exactly what I needed to realize the extent of her frailty and to help me plan for the next step. My own work includes developing supportive seniors housing and I can only hope care in future facilities I develop will be up to this standard.”
