What is the time commitment for volunteering?
There is no specific time commitment for volunteering with us. You provide us with your availability and we will work with you to find activities that work with your schedule.
What if I am interested in performing for volunteer work?
That is wonderful! There is always a need for performers in our partner’s care homes. Please fill out the “questions” form to the right and we will arrange for you to perform.
I have a service animal. Can I volunteer with your organization?
Absolutely! There is always a need for service animals. Please call our office at 480-745-3015 to discuss what type of service animal you have and we will work with you to find a good opportunity.
Is there training?
Yes there is. To protect our patients and their families, we require that all volunteers pass a background and drug screening test and complete a full volunteer training course. This course contains some online learning and one Saturday orientation with a volunteer luncheon. If you are unable to come on a Saturday, we will work with you to complete your training. Just let us know on your application.
What about office work?
We can always use additional help creating things for our patients, their families and helping keep up with office tasks. If you are interested, please fill out an application and note on there what type of office work you are looking to assist with.
To apply to be a volunteer, please complete the application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Click here to access the volunteer application.
